Since bingo first started being played in the 1930s, it has expanded and developed and now boasts an immense variety of game types. With this diversity, it is no wonder that more people are being attracted to bingo sites each year. The simplest way in which you can vary a game of bingo is to change the pattern of numbers that needs to be achieved to win. Obviously, complex patterns involving extra numbers are more difficult to create but the prize that you can win is also increased, making the added complexity well worth it. Here are a few of the more unique patterns available these days:
- Shamrock: Perfect for St. Patrick’s Day or any other Irish themed holiday, this design will hopefully grant you the Leprechaun’s pot of gold at the end of the day.
- Birthday Cake: If it is your special moment, there is no better way to celebrate than with a few games of online bingo using this very unique pattern.
- Pyramid: Let the magic of Egypt grant you the good fortune to win big by creating this pattern in a manner that any Pharaoh would be proud of.
- Christmas Tree: Bingo can still be fun in the festive season and this pattern makes it all the more relevant during this very merry period.
As for developing the game style itself, there are a few variations that may be interesting to bingo lovers everywhere. Bonanza Bingo involves purchasing cards before the game and trying to match every number that is then called out. This is a fast-paced version of bingo in which players scramble to win the ultimate jackpot. Horse Racing Bingo is another variant that combines both of these fun gambling pastimes. Instead of numbers, players have different events that may happen on the track. When these situations occur, that square is covered up and play continues until someone yells bingo. If you have come across any other unique bingo games in your time playing, we would love for you to leave a comment below.

I would like to learn the birthday cake. Sound like as intriguing Bingo pattern.
My sister and i used to have a contest on who can make the best pattern in our bingo cards. It was easy for her because she had the hand and eye coordination of a ping-pong player. But alas me, I never got pass the usual horizontal and vertical patterns.
Bonanza bingo sounds like a lot of fun. Must be really noisy when players are at the height of excitement with these games.
If you want a lot of interesting bingo games, Paddy power has ones that are based on household games like Jenga and the Rubiks Cube and game shows like Blockbusters and Family Fortune.
This must be one of the coolest bingo blogs I've come across. Cheers and keep up the good work!
Have been playing to try Shamrock for St. patrick's day. But in between the drinking and the celebrations I completely forgot.
A friend of mine has tried the pyramid some weeks back and he said you really need to familiarize yourself with the playing as you need to be able to find the number immediately. But he did learn the pattern immediately and he did find the game easy and fun.
